『京都禅寺巡り』は、臨済宗・黄檗宗の研究機関として活動する「公益財団法人 禅文化研究所」と日本システム技術、和合舎の三者が業務提携を行い企画・開発。京都にある臨済宗・黄檗宗寺院の情報を総合的に提供し、お寺文化と歴史に興味を持つ人たちにより深く禅文化を知ってもらうアプリを制作しました。

一般公開している寺院の拝観情報やアクセス情報はもちろん、各寺院の持つ歴史について解説。寺院の建物や庭園の歴史、お寺を開いたお坊さんのライフヒストリーから襖絵の作者まで、「知りたい」気持ちをきめ細やかにフォローアップします。また、通常非公開寺院の特別拝観情報もアップデートされるので、旅先でチェックすれば思わぬご利益が得られるかも？

【機能紹介】
■禅寺コレクト
72ヶ寺の中から特に数ヶ寺を特集して、詳細な情報をご案内します。日本仏教史、禅宗史上で特筆すべき寺院ばかりですから、寺院建立の歴史、開山禅師のご生涯など、かなり詳しい情報を満載。ほかにも貴重な仏像や絵画、季節ごとの寺院の風景など、見るだけで癒されそうな画像も多数収録。一部エリアでは、収録されている風景の前に立ってカメラを起動し画像に重ねるようにすると、画面上で、例えば真夏に紅葉の季節のイメージを見ることもできます。

■禅寺巡り（検索）
臨済宗・黄檗宗の有名寺院だけでなく、周辺にある各派末寺にもご案内します。桜や紅葉など美しい庭園のお寺、国宝や重要文化財の建築物のあるお寺、精進料理やお抹茶をいただけるお寺を簡単に検索できます。坐禅や写経をしたいといった要望にも役立ちます。検索にヒットした寺院情報では、通常非公開にされているような貴重な宝物を、スマートフォン独特の臨場感のある美しい画像で閲覧することもできます。寺院やコンテンツは適宜追加します。

■カメラ＆アルバム
本アプリケーションからカメラ撮影した写真は、GPS機能により撮影場所が自動記録されます。そのためアルバム機能では禅寺毎に整理された撮影写真を見ることができ、思い出をサポートします。

■スタンプ
GPS機能により、利用者が寺院を参拝すると、寺院固有の紋章である寺紋などをスマートフォンの画面に登録し、まるでスタンプラリーのように集めることができます。まずは禅寺コレクト13ヶ寺の寺紋やマークをゲットして、コンプリートしてみましょう。今後も新たなスタンプラリーを計画しています。

中国で生まれた禅は、鎌倉時代に日本にわたって我が国独自の禅の文化を創り出しました。公益財団法人 禅文化研究所にて作成した「禅クイズ」で、そういった禅の歴史や禅の文化についての知識をユーザーに問いかけます。興味深く気軽に禅の知識を理解・習得でき、京都観光の予習・復習にも役立ちます。10問が出題される「お試し」と、簡単なものから難解な問題まで合計100問からランダムに出題される「修行」（有料登録必要）があります。

■法話・禅語
臨済宗・黄檗宗の布教師による法話を閲覧することができます。また、禅問答から生まれた禅語は、一般の方々にも興味を持っていただける禅文化のひとつであり、この禅語の解説を含めて、毎月更新していきます。

■情報配信
待ち受け画面にウィジェットを設置するだけで、特別参拝や法要などの情報が届きます。年間行事や催しの情報に触れ、禅寺の様々な表情をお楽しみいただけます。
