■book-in-the-box(ブックインザボックス)は、シャープ株式会社が提供する電子書籍アプリです。

■お客様が購入した電子書籍コンテンツの書棚機能と、購入した電子書籍コンテンツを閲覧するビューア機能をご利用頂けます。

■book-in-the-boxに対応した電子書籍ストアで購入した電子書籍コンテンツ（※1）であれば、電子書籍ストアに関係なく本アプリ一つで整理・閲覧できます。
※1 各電子書籍ストアにて、book-in-the-box対応形式で書籍をダウンロードしてください。book-in-the-boxに対応した電子書籍コンテンツにはXMDF2.0, XMDF3.0、ドットブック (.book)、EPUB (Open Manga Format)、EPUB3があります。

■初回起動時には、アプリ使用許諾契約にご同意の上、ユーザ登録を行って頂きます。
ご登録頂く内容は以下の通りです。
・メールアドレス
・生年月日
・郵便番号
・性別（男性／女性）
・パスワード

■本アプリを利用する場合には、通信状態が良い場所で行って下さい。通信状態が悪い場所で行うと、認証等に失敗する場合があります。

※すべての機種での動作を保証するものではありません。（アプリ動作環境を満たさない場合は起動制限を行っている場合があります）

■ご利用時の注意
※電子書籍コンテンツは、内蔵ストレージや外部メモリに保存する仕様となっております。ただし、外部メモリの無い一部の機種では、端末仕様により内部ストレージに保存されます（GALAXY S/GALAXY S2/GALAXY NEXUS/GALAXY Tabなど）。これらの機種では電子書籍コンテンツをmicroSD等の外部メモリへ移動することができません。
※microSD等の外部メモリに保存された電子書籍コンテンツを閲覧できるのは、保存時に当該microSD等の外部メモリを挿入していた端末に限ります。その他の端末に、当該microSD等の外部メモリを挿入してもご利用頂くことができません。
※本アプリは自動的にサーバーと通信して、お知らせ等の配信を行うため、通信料が発生します。通信料定額サービスへのご加入をおすすめします。また、海外でのご利用は、通信料定額サービス対象外となる場合がありますので、海外で本アプリを利用する際には、Wi-Fi環境でのご利用をおすすめします。
