Messaging app with a broken search function
Have used viber for 2 years now, and never managed to find a message i was looking for. Why is there no “search in chat” function, why do i have to search everywhere? Why does the search everywhere function never find the messages i am actually looking for? It seems to only find the latest message from each chat that matches the search query, which is retarded.
I could not use Viber
My old phone been broken so I have to download it to the new one, everything goes smoothly until the screen shows the information section and requires to put my name, birthdate and email address. I did all of the requirements then the [Done] did not appear to be pressed. Could you please support me on this problem??? I have been used Viber for almost 5 years and I have never got this problem in other countries.
UI Problem Update
I switched from iPhone XS to 14 Pro recently and I cannot access chat photos/media because I am unable to tap on the contact's name. Hope this bug will get fixed soon. 🥺😞 I have been using Viber since forever and am satisfied with its features but I will be giving it two stars for now. 🙇🏻♀️ Viber solved this issue in less than a week! Impressed 😌 Deserving of a 5 star rating 😻
Terrible app
One of the most pathetic apps! I switched my iPhone from iPhone 8 to 11 and couldn’t get it activated. It requires a phone number to reactivate every time that you change a phone. The sms will be needed for this bit Viber never sends sms. Even if you use call to activate feature the call doesn’t arrive. Customer service reps have a standard handbook and just goes by it telling us to update the iOS, update Viber, check your phone for sms etc. 1st time activation seems to work but changing device has issues as the sms code required for activation just doesn’t arrive! Have to contact friends list contact using another app to tell them that I can’t use Viber anymore!

Sound quality was a bit poor. I had an OK connection. My friend had a fast connection. Sound quality was 👍 on Zoom. I hope Viber will be like Zoom. On Messenger we can react with any emoji. I hope Viber will have this too.
