Full screen pop up since Nov. 2020 update
TL:DR: Do not use the app now, full page pop-up ads everywhere. The recent update with full screen commercial videos whenever scrolling through the headlines or an article is absolutely not acceptable, especially for such a respected news sources. Find another solution for ad revenues, and until then - I recommend no one to use this app.
Please fix the ads!!
I have really enjoyed the app to date, but recently the ad you have on the site just won’t stop re-appearing. You watch it and it repeats, you scroll down and it re-appears - it’s relentless. Can’t even ready one article to the end. Please fix it. It’s the same ad over and over again!!!
More ads than news
This used to be a staple app of mine, but these pop up video ads are relentless. It’s hard to get through one article without the same looped video popping up three or four times. For each article! It detracts from the writing, I feel sorry for the authors who are trying to write decent articles. This app is now useless.
Intrusive ads
Overall this is a solid news app, but I wish there was a way to prevent the FedEx ad (might be different for different regions) pushing itself forward at least twice every time I scroll down. I understand ads are a necessity in free apps, but not to the detriment of the user experience.
Show us BBC's unique opinion for olympic
Everybody know it is too dangerous to hold olympic games this summer, but all the world major media never criticize about ugly chicken games among Japanese government, IOC, WHO and NBC. If London really want to hold olympics instead of Japan as it had released before, we are really happy.
