Flexonome is a precise Metronome designed to build up playing Accuracy and Speed. The Practicing Instrumentalist can define two Tempos and a Duration, with the beat going slowly from one tempo to the other, and possibly back. Despite looking simple in appearance, this app required quite some work, to achieve its timing precision (it is acurate, down to the sample, to the 1/44100th of a second), and for the simplicity of its appearance, this is why it costs close to 3$. The positive side is that it does not contain any publicity, or incentives to buy. You pay a little, your support Anvils Studio, and Flexonome is then yours. It will also allow us to go further, with the planned v2, with more sounds and more controls in general, like over the Time Period of the acceleration/deceleration, setting it in musical measures, for more creative applications like recording it in a sequencer. Anvils Studio has also another planned project: a musical app, a Creative Sampler that will enable creative minds to sample sounds and instruments, to have them (nearly) instantly available for Musical purposes, thanks to the Artificial Intelligence within the software, that will take care of all the "boring" aspects of sampling: the editing of sounds, the assembling of them into virtual instruments, and sequencing...
