Frustrating
Tried Bumble first time in my life. 1st day, was pretty optimistic and ran out of likes (though I swiped thougtfully). 2nd day, received 5-ish likes (cannot see profiles), swiped a lot more carefully than yesterday, missed all the potential matches because thought they're too good to me and I should not spend my scarce right-swipe on them. 3rd day, got few more likes, anxious about missing potential matches swiped only 10-15 profiles a day, missed all my new likes again. 4th day, missed few potential matches again, frustrated, uninstalled app.
Bumble is dampening matches
Hello so a few months ago I created my account and it went crazy I think I got somewhere in between 30-60 matches my first day and then after a week I would only get 40 and then 2 weeks later I only got 25 and up to now I’ve only gotten 3 matches and for some reason I run out of people so fast it’s not even funny I could get maybe 2 people or 3 on a good day when I used to get the maximum amount and then some I believe that bumble is dampening matches, the amount of people, and who messages you mind you the only thing I’ve done is delete the app twice and reinstall it.
You might as well just use Instagram
There are countless profiles of women on Bumble who share their Instagram account. Often, their username is all they write. They never interact with you on the app or on Instagram. They just want followers. Yet, me, as a man, if I ever share my Instagram username, my profile is wiped clean right away. I can connect my Instagram account, yes, and display my latest photos. But I cannot mention my username. Women can. I can’t. Bumble Support told me sharing your username on your profile is not allowed, and I can report fraudulent accounts. I don’t know how many times I’ve reported those accounts. If I delete my account and register again later, those accounts are still there and their Instagram username is still displayed. I recreated my account often and reported those accounts frequently, yet several months later, they’re still there. I think I’ll start logging my actions and findings as evidence and report this as fraud. It looks like Bumble is giving preferential treatment to women on their platform. Women can bend the rules and “make the first move.” Men cannot. That all said, you might as well just look for people on Instagram. It’s free, anyone can make the first move regardless of their gender or sexual orientation, and you basically have as many chances to “match” someone on there or get any reply.
Blocked for nothing
I got blocked for nothing . I had several chat with few girls and suddenly I was blocked . I can’t talk to those girls anymore cause of a misunderstanding of the bumble staff. Maybe a girl didn’t like me so report me. I was never impolite or weird . I was always honest with my intention. If people don’t like honesty it’s not my fault. In the condition it said “be in bumble as if you were in the real life” it’s exactly what I did !! I’m not a liar and I’m honest as in my real life. If people prefer lies than honesty it’s not my problem. But being blocked to be honest and not playing a role it’s really too much! Bumble staff said they investigated on my case..... did you really do? Cause if you really did you’ll really see I didn’t insult or being weird at all. Anyway , if you can do without this app just do it. If you don’t like to be judge just delete this app. It’s exactly what I did .
Banned for no reason and no explanation at all
I was definitely banned after a few weeks just having 2 matches, 2 pictures and no text yet. They would not give any reason or whatsoever which is really unfair. I found out afterward that someone did enter my account by using my I deleted old phone but once again they don’t listen to victims. Gave one star but deserve zero. Be careful if you do in app purchase as they of course won’t refund as they said (hopefully did not bought anything yet)
