[Piccolombo Free]は、JPEGファイルにキャプション情報を付けて、NSK-TIFF（日本新聞協会フォーマット）で送信するアプリケーションです。
カードリーダーからの画像入力、キャプション編集、NSK-TIFFまたはJPEG形式でのFTP送信、電子メールへのファイル添付などが行えます。

■キャプション情報付加機能
画像にタイトル、キャプション、撮影者、発信地、写真番号、撮影日時のキャプション情報を付けて保存することができます。
■画像入力機能
USBカードリーダーを使ってデジタルカメラで撮影した画像を端末に入力することができます。
※USBホスト機能のない端末ではUSBカードリーダーを使うことはできません。
無線LANカードリーダーを使ってデジタルカメラで撮影した画像を端末に入力することができます。
※無線LANカードリーダーの機種（仕様）によっては入力できない場合がありますのでご注意ください。
画像入力画面ではプロテクト画像のみを表示することができます。

■画像編集機能
[Piccolombo]には画像編集機能はありませんが、他の画像編集ソフトを呼び出して画像編集を行うことができます。
※呼び出すことができる画像編集ソフトは、ACTION_VIEW呼び出しに対応しているソフトです。
編集後の画像には、編集前の画像のキャプション情報、Exif情報がコピーされます。
■画像送信機能
画像をFTP送信することができます。
画像をSMTP送信することができます。
メールソフトを呼び出して画像をメール送信することができます。
※呼び出すことができるメールソフトは、ACTION_SEND呼び出しに対応しているソフトです。
送信ファイルフォーマットは、NSK-TIFF（日本新聞協会フォーマット）とJPEGが選択できます。
■ビューワー機能
画像を画面いっぱいに拡大して表示することができます。
Exif情報に記録されている撮影日時、機種、シャッター速度、絞り、焦点距離、ISOを表示することができます。
