「ドキュメントトーカ　触地図」は、地図に表示されている地名や駅名、施設名などを、触れるだけで読み上げてくれるアプリです。
Talkbackに対応しており、視覚に障害のあるかたのための地図ソフトです。
地図は、Yahoo地図を使用しておりますが、現状では利用できる唯一の地図アプリです。Yahooさんに感謝！
表示される地図には、縮尺に応じて地名等が表示されますが、その表示されるテキストを読み上げます。
日本全土が表示される縮尺では主要都市のみが表示されますので、地図の上をなぞっていけば、 「東京」「甲府」「静岡」「浜松」といったように東から西にわたる主要都市が読上げられます。
縮尺を上げていけば、ビル名やお店の名前までも読上げてくれます。
また、縮尺を下げて、世界地図レベルでは、世界の国名が読み上げられます。

Ver1.1 より、国土交通省、国土数値情報データを使い、鉄道路線、道路・河川（東京のみ）の名称を読み上げます。
Ver2.0 より、操作方法の改善があり、より使いやすくなっております。
画面構成は、最上段（アクションバーと呼びます）には、「タイトル名」と「検索」ボタン、
右端に「その他のオプションボタン」、（機種によっては「メニューボタン」）が並んでいます。
その下には、画面ほとんどを占有する地図画面、最下段には、地図の拡大・縮小ボタンとその地点の詳細を読み上げるボタンが並んでいます。

使用方法
Talkbackが有効のとき
Ver2.0より操作方法が変わりました。

地図画面にはマークポイントというピンフラッグが立っています。
１本指で地図画面をゆっくりとなぞってください。
ピンフラッグがなぞった方向へゆっくり移動していきます。
そのピンが指す地点のテキストが読み上げられます。
そのまま、ゆっくりとなぞリまくってください。
手を地図画面から離してもマークポイントの位置は変わりません。
マークポイントが地図画面からはみ出すときは自動的にスクロールされますのでシームレスな閲覧が可能となりました。
地図画面の上下には、指操作の緩衝地帯があり、その中に指が入ってもマークポイントの移動はありません。
緩衝地帯に指が入るとサウンドで教えてくれます。緩衝地帯の下には拡大縮小ボタン等が配置されています。

ゆっくりなぞれば、音声は省略されることなく読み上げられますが、速くなぞると、前の音声は中断され新しい箇所を読み上げます。
地図は上が北、下が南、右が東、左が西と固定となっていますので、建物等の位置関係もわかってくると思います。
また、建物等の距離を読み上げる機能もあります。
鉄道路線、道路、河川の読み上げはオプションとなっておりメニューで設定をすることができます。

２本指の操作では、画面のスクロールや、地図の拡大縮小が行われ、その間サウンドが聞こえます。
スクロールや拡大縮小が終わったとき、地図の中心点や縮尺などの読み上げも行われます。
ただし、２本指の操作は、端末機種によってスムーズに行われない場合があります。

ダブルタップすると、マークポイントの住所情報を読上げます。これは、マークポイントの読み上げボタンと同じ機能となります。
一部の端末では読み上げが行われないことがあります。
住所情報には、住所、ビル名、入居しているストア名が読み上げられます。
何もない場所だった場合は住所のみが、交差点や道路名が読み上げられる場合もあります。
「日本」と読み上げられる場合は「海の上」を指している可能性があります。
「わかりません。海の上かも」といったケースもありますが、この場合は通信がうまくいいていない可能性があります。
海外の場合は、国名だけですが、以下の地域は州や省の名前も追加されます。
